A couple weeks ago I threw down a challenge for anyone racing head-to-head against me in the CompuTrainer Throwdown, pledging to give a Cutaway Clothing t-shirt to anyone who raced against me in the same room and beat me.
My own teammate Kyle Murphy took me up on it and laid me low (video). We were neck and neck the whole time. With about half a mile to go - half of which was the 8% finishing climb - I opened up a gap of about 10 feet, the biggest either of us had enjoyed all day. Kyle kept his cool though, and while I was fading at the top of the climb he squeaked by me to win by two seconds.
